Working with Sherry for our first pregnancy was a wonderful experience. She made us feel at ease at every visit. She was compassionate, always receptive to our wishes, extremely knowledgeable and provided wonderful recommendations and suggestions to help us prepare for out baby and the birth process. by the end of the pregnancy, she felt like a family member. and she was exceptional during the birth. she balanced adhering to our birth plan with making sure mom and baby were both doing well even though the birth did not go as planned. we would both recommend Sherry, especially to any first-time parents. Sherry was with me for both my second and third baby. She has great instincts, probably because of the many many years she has been helping mothers. I remember with my second baby, which was my first VBAC, i said i feel a lot of pressure, and she looked at me calmly and said with a matter of fact tone "why dont you try pushing". I did, and it worked!
She is a very genuine, down to earth and also calm person. I felt very safe with her. I feel like everything i told her, she was never shocked by it, seems like she has heard everything before! Sherry is also great with the kids, my kids really liked her every time she did a home visit. Lastly, Sherry is very hands on. I needed a urine test 2 weeks before i delivered, she came to my house to get the sample and delivered it to the lab for me. Awesome personal service! I would highly recommend Sherry if u are looking for a homebirth midwife!-S
